Kari Sam Wuhrer was born on 28th April 1968 is an American Actress and Singer. Wuhrer started her career when she was in her teens. She is best known for playing Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders, as well as her role as her character, Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror-comedy movie Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised at Brookfield Connecticut as the daughter of Karin Noble who was employed as a payroll clerk, and German American Andrew Wuhrer. She has 3 siblings. When she was young She sang in nightclubs and slipped out to sing. From the Wooster School at 13 years old and began to study acting. Later, she attended the Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University, Marymount Manhattan College located at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, with the renowned professor Uta Hagen. Wuhrer was a student. She was born a Brookfield native birthed in Brookfield Connecticut in the 28th of April 1967. Her German-American dad is also an auto dealer as well as a police official. Kari's siblings are three. When she was a teenager, she sang at nightclubs while slipping out to do a show. Kari began studying acting when she was just 13 years old. Then she studied acting at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University and Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College in addition to at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, with Uta Hagen, who is a well-known instructor. Kari started acting at the age of a teenager. Her first breakthrough was in 1987 when she played MTV Remote Control.
